In September 2023, FBS and Education Africa collaborated to empower the students of Masibambane College in Orange Farm, Johannesburg. Education Africa founded the college in partnership with St John’s College in 1996 and is now transforming it into a STEM Educational Centre of Excellence.
We are proud to contribute to the noble cause of providing quality education and equal opportunities to underserved communities. Our first donation has already helped purchase essential school supplies to give Masibambane College students the tools to continue their STEM journey, a core dimension of the school's curriculum.
To mark the commencement of this collaborative endeavor, our FBS Team visited Masibambane School on September 20 to engage with young learners and enjoy a guided tour of the school. This meeting marks the official handover of the donated supplies and symbolizes the commencement of a collaborative journey toward making STEM education accessible at the school.
By joining forces with Education Africa, we do our part in ensuring equal access to quality education and eliminating inequalities within the UN Sustainable Development agenda.
